moat.so

The review layer for agent-written docs.

Your AI agent creates a plan, spec, analysis, or PRD as local Markdown. Moat turns that file into a live review link so a human can comment and suggest edits inline.

The local file stays canonical. The agent syncs feedback back into its workspace, revises the source, pushes a new version, then closes or unpublishes the hosted review.

Agent draft: new onboarding flow

Recommendation

Reposition Moat as the review surface for agent-created Markdown artifacts: PRDs, implementation plans, research reports, and launch analyses. The agent should publish the exact local file, send the human a short summary and review link, then sync comments back before revising.

The homepage should stop leading with documents people sharework agents need human judgement on and make the closeout loop visible: final sync, local archive, and hosted unpublish.

Agent assumptions

Default behaviour: ask before publishing, warn on likely secrets, never upload folders, and keep plan.md as the canonical file. Moat stores the review surface, not the source of truth.

A real review surface. Select text, leave comments, and make suggestions without touching the source file.

Built for agent handoff

Instead of hunting for files your agent wrote locally, ask it to publish the exact Markdown artifact to Moat. You review in the browser; it pulls the structured feedback back into the workspace.

curl -fsSL https://moat.so/install.sh | sh
moat init-agent # writes .moat/agent-contract.md
moat share ./plan.md # returns a review URL
moat sync ./plan.md # pulls comments + suggestions
moat push ./plan.md # publishes the revised source
moat finish ./plan.md # syncs, archives, unpublishes
Prompt your agent

Paste this into Hermes, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or another coding agent when it creates a substantial Markdown artifact you want to review inline.

Use Moat to publish the Markdown file `<file>.md` for my review, then send me the review link. After I annotate it, sync the feedback, revise the source file, and finish the review.
